• What happened

On July, we added a required Use of AI declaration to all courses. Students who started after that date are unaffected. Some students with a lesson already in progress were locked out of continuing. This is how the platform behaves when a lesson changes mid-attempt.

      What we knew and when
      •  July: We published the update after testing new enrolments.
      • After release: We received reports from a small number of existing students who could not continue.
      • Same period: We confirmed the cause and prepared a safe fix.
      Why we made that call

The update was mandatory and applied to every course. The issue only affects open attempts that pre-date the change. Once we saw the impact, we moved to fix it.

      What we are doing now

We are taking a full backup, then resetting affected in-progress attempts so those students can continue normally. No grades or completed work will be removed. If you need extra time on your course completion date because of this, we will add it.

      What you need to do

If you see “review mode” or cannot continue, please contact support with your course name and the email you use to sign in. We will prioritise your reset and confirm once it's done.

Fingers crossed, this gremlin will be sorted over the weekend. We are sorry for the disruption and appreciate your patience.
